Mainstreet Mastery is an online business resource founded by Madeline Smith, a competent and caring business coach with over two decades of experience. Over the years, she’s worked with main-street-style businesses in a wide range of industries including medical, legal, and financial service companies, automotive repair shops, salon services, and more.​

She has learned many simple truths in her career. Most importantly, that the majority of business owners don't need more complicated business advice that they won’t end up using. And they certainly don’t need to be told what to do. Business owners know more about their own operations than anyone else ever could.  ​

What they need are business tools that will help them identify the very real barriers blocking their success.

A Career Built Around Helping Business Owners Succeed

Madeline's interest in business began in her early years of studying business administration. She accepted a position in the executive division of a 150-person organization in Tustin, California, where she was given the responsibility of helping increase the size and scope of the organization. Working closely with the executive team, she helped grow the organization to levels of success it had never before achieved.

​

By the end of that period, Madeline was hooked on developing effective business strategies.

 

In 2002, she signed on as a business advisor with the top management firm Drive in Glendale, California, and was given a caseload of coaching over forty business owners a week. Specializing in helping owners recover from financial emergencies, she achieved the designation of Master Consultant at the company within three years.

In 2007, she was promoted to Quality Control Manager. In that role, she was responsible for the quality of service and results delivered to the extensive client base, while also personally supervising the training of the company's consulting team.

​

​She later became an independent business consultant and a trainer specializing in business communications working with Sterling, a former Fortune 500 management company also based in Glendale, California. She has coached and delivered management workshops to small business owners and their employees across the United States.

Now based in Brea, California, Madeline continues to advise clients while building Mainstreet Mastery into a resource for owners who want to have more reliable management tools to make better decisions with.
